Domestic Cost of Living & Quality of Living Reports, Indonesia
To help organizations understand the differences, along with the impact on employee’s buying power and quality of life, we survey the Cost of Living and Quality of Living differentials in the major cities in Indonesia.
The 2020 report will cover 34 major cities in Java, Kalimantan, Sumatra, Sulawesi, Irian Jaya, and other regions. The categories surveyed include food, domestic supplies, transport, utilities, housing, education, healthcare, and sports & leisure.
The Mercer Mean-to-Mean Index is the best indicator of overall differences in prices between two locations as it compares the average prices in the base city to the average prices in the host city
The Mercer Efficient index compares the average of the low and mid-level prices in the base city with the average prices in the host city
The Mercer Convenience index compares the average of the low and mid-level prices in the base city with the average prices in the host city
Accomodation cost tables
Yearly rental housing costs are provided for each host location.
Accommodation Type: Yearly rental costs for different-sized houses, furnished and unfurnished, in different areas.
Number of Bedrooms: Yearly rental costs for a house with two, three or more than three bedrooms.
Education information
Provides Education information for schools at different levels, covering monthly cost and tuition fee.
Health information
Provides Doctor and Hospital room and board fees and available facilities.
Business travel expenses
Typical daily cost for employees on business trips. Covering hotels, meals, taxis, and miscellaneous expenses.
Actual price
List of prices for Food, Utensils, Clothing, Entertainment and Sports, Home Appliances, transport and many more.
